ACA IT-Solutions donates Lego bricks to CultuurNet Vlaanderen

by

ACA IT-Solutions attended Devoxx 2013 with its own trade show booth. We created our booth all by ourselves and used approximately 16.000 Lego parts to finish it.

After the event, we decided to brighten up someone's world by donating all the Lego bricks and pieces to a good cause. So we asked all our contacts to submit all non-profit organizations they might know that could use the parts for play, development, creativity, education or art.

We closed the action on January 24, 2014 and we will donate the Lego parts to CultuurNet Vlaanderen vzw. They will integrate the bricks in their "Schatten van Vlieg" action, with which they want to motivate children to cultural participation in an accessible way. The bricks and pieces will be used at the landing site in Mechelen and the people of Mechelen Kinderstad will get on with it.

We received many good suggestions and would like to thank all people for submitting their ideas.

Mobile app increases inspection efficiency at VAB Fleet Services

by

LEA VAB Fleet Services

ACA IT-Solutions developed a first app in a set of mobile apps integrating with the new Sales Platform of VAB Fleet Services.

Inspectors of VAB Fleet Services use the LEA extension app during the execution of car intakes on behalf of external car dealers. The app provides a step-by-step interface to the entire sales transaction process and has online interfaces to the car dealers' systems to shorten the required time. The details of the vendor are controlled live, photos from possible claims and signed documents are sent to have an accurate representation of the car immediately.

LEA is a native Android app running on devices provided by VAB Fleet Services to their inspectors.
